Professor Vrasidas Karalis

Professor Vrasidas Karalis lectures in European Studies, Modern Greek and Medieval Studies at The University of Sydney. He specialises in language learning, language acquisition and literary stylistics. He has published extensively and lectures periodically in the USA, UK and Europe. He has long experience in teaching pre-school children second-language acquisition programmes, artistic and literary expression, as well as mythopoeic narratives. He believes that the best way of learning to read is based on a holistic approach to language within a humanistic framework of education.
